It’s been a bit of a rubbish week for trying to eat healthily and stay on track with my P90x. Friday I was out with a girlfriend for her birthday, yesterday I was whale watching with my work and there was a buffet and then today the family came over for a birthday barbecue and I made a tiramasu.
I didn’t do too badly eating wise and avoided too many bad things but I committed to doing P90x for three months and therefore should not deviate so I am back on track for tomorrow.
I don’t know about you but eating has always been my downfall in the sense, I can work my butt off exercise wise but then eat badly and it all goes to pot. My gym buddies are extremely disciplined and they look amazing and I have finally seen the light! Although the odd treat is a must otherwise I know I will fall off the wagon if I restrict myself 100%.
Exercise though the week has been good and I finished it off with a good hard 10k run this morning, ready for week 4 starting tomorrow 🙂
I am enjoying doing P90x and managing two running sessions a week and it’s going well. I managed to get up to 15.5 on the treadmill in my speed session last week which was a first for me, so the plyometrics and the weight work is working, making me a stronger runner – awesome.
