I’m going to run a Brisbane Road Runners race for the first time tomorrow – just a 5k. They do monthly races which is great to try and improve on times over a specific course and I am bored running round Forest Lake all the time.
Kind of a bit lethargic with racing at the moment after all the training in the lead up to the Park2park but will see how I go.
I’m definitely sticking with shorter distance for a while. I feel I am much better at it and enjoy it – there’s nothing worse than having to force yourself to go and run.
It’s starting to get warmer now too so am bracing myself for the heat struggle, but for the moment all is good.
