Well I had a minor setback with my running this week. I was doing so well with my training and eating then BAM I got sick on wednesday night and have been sick since. I am at the tail end of a virus/cold now but haven’t been able to do any training, haven’t been able to get out of bed let alone anything else!
I’m thinking it has something to do with my detox – I’m on day 9 by the way and a kilo lighter. (I did lose more but being sick meant that my husband wanted me to eat more and carbs as well so I haven’t lost as much as I had hoped but there’s always next week! ) I guess my body was a bit more vulnerable eating less and decided to pick up a cold/virus – yuk.
I never train when I am sick as you never know what something might lead to and I didn’t want to make things worse. So onwards and upwards and hoping I feel better tomorrow and can at least try for Body Pump and then running later in the week once fully recovered.
