I haven’t posted in 10 days but I am feeling much better now and back into my training. The last week has been good from a training point of view and now the weather is hotting up so that is proving to be a great challenge for me which is just what I need right now.
I’ve been doing more weights work than I normally do and my friend who is a personal trainer gave me a real going over the other day to the point I couldn’t move later the next day! I’ve also been going back to basics and doing a lot of running and boy it’s good to be back. I got my new trainers (ASICS – never worn their brand before) which are awesome, and I’m really enjoying my training even though it’s really hard at the moment. I’ve been trying to run with the girls once a week too during the week which is helping me push myself.
Sometimes we need a break or a change to motivate and inspire us – well I do anyway, and I feel so motivated at the moment and am determined to keep it going to push myself in my training.
I’ve been thinking about how to enhance this blog and have a few ideas for posts, so watch this space.
