How is your training going this week?
I’ve had another great week combining both running and riding. I managed a 60k bike ride last Saturday which I was very proud of and then managed to get up and run the next day on very tired legs. I feel like I have really turned a corner in training and I feel a lot more positive so it’s all good as they say here in Oz!
I haven’t run up Mount Cootha for a few weeks now so I may well suffer when I next do it but I am finding the riding is really helping my strength in my running so I might actually enjoy more hill running 🙂
I’m using Strava to log my runs and rides which is giving me extra motivation as well. It’s not that accurate using the phone app but I have been using my Garmin and then uploading that to Strava and it works much better. I got a bit fed up of Myfitnesspal as I couldn’t be bothered to enter my food everyday so much happier with Strava.
Anyway enough of my rambling for tonight.
