Wow it’s December – how quickly did that come around! Hope your training is going well. I am feeling like the Girl That Waddles at the moment rather than the Girl That Runs π
New Year’s Resolutions for 2014Β

I usually start to think about New Year Resolutions about this time of the year and what I have achieved this year in comparison to what I said I would achieve π That’s just me – a bit nerdy like that. This year has definitely been a year of achievements, just not how I imagined them to be that’s for sure. Getting pregnant was definitely on the list but I figured I’d still be training and achieving little fitness goals here and there but as I mentioned in previous posts I haven’t been too well with it all so that all went out of the window.
So I started thinking about 2014 and I have lots of resolutions π
1. To have a healthy baby and to be a good mother
2. To get fit again but not become obsessed with getting the weight down quickly but equally not to become a couch potato but to know my limits
3. To run at least one Β race next year to help me get back into my running !

Have you seen their site before? I have to admit I hadn’t and I had a proper look but I was seriously impressed with their prices since sports wear is pretty expensive over here in Australia – their prices are great and they have some amazing deals on running shoes and clothing Β – and have regular buy one get one free deals which is always a draw card for me π so I’ll be doing a spot of shopping once the baby is born I think π

New Years Resolution: work exercise into my day more π
surgery to remove spurs on left ankle and then walk longer each day to achieve good heart health and stretch these muscles from desk work π

Build up the muscles in my shoulder (to offset my injury there) and to not eat every bit of food I see π
Mine has to be to run a marathon!
To dust off my bike and get cycling with my daughter!

My New Years Resolution is to run my first marathon. That’s one of the reasons I set up my blog, to help keep me motivated, as it will be a long journey. Thanks for the tip about Kayano’s. They are my favourite shoes. The last time I tried another shoe I lost a toenail. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
